When I first heard of upper cervical chiropractic care, I was skeptical. How could focusing on one tiny part of my body help all the other parts of my body? Well, it only took one appointment with Dr. Lea for me to realize that I couldn’t have been more wrong. Over an hour and a half (the longest time a doctor has ever spent with me, by the way) long appointment, Dr. Lea taught me so much about my body that I didn’t know. He took time to really listen to my concerns and talk through all of my story, not just highlighting the parts that seemed important. He made me feel seen, heard, and acknowledged. As someone who lives with chronic pain, I’m used to talking about my case with lots of doctors who are pleasant enough and clearly skilled professionals, but none of them made me feel like I did today. I can’t wait for my next appointment with Dr. Lea!!
